HTM Credit Union is
committed to protecting our members’ privacy. We have created
this policy in our effort to demonstrate our firm commitment to
their privacy. We will clearly disclose to all members our
Privacy Policy.
Our employees and/or volunteers are not allowed to access member
information unless they have been authorized to transact
business for the Credit Union. No employee and/or volunteer will
discuss or disclose any information on our members unless they
have been authorized to for the purpose of carrying out the
credit union’s business.
We will only
collect, maintain, and use information from or about our members
as specifically required to transact business with our members.
We will exercise a reasonable level of control to ensure
accuracy of member information.
Third parties authorized to access customer information will
also be subject to the above policies.
As HTM Credit Union continues to adopt new technologies, we
realize that many of our members have concerns about privacy. As
we move onto the World Wide Web, the following commitment
applies: Visitors to our web site will remain anonymous. We do
not collect personal identifying information about visitors to
our site. Our Web Site servers only capture a visitor’s
operating system, browser version, and IP address.
All loan and membership information is collected in the most
secure method available. If a member has provided identification
(such as name and address) via e-mail or information request
forms, the information will only be used to communicate with
them to handle their request. It is not sold or provided to
other parties.
HTM Credit Union’s site contains links to other web sites. We
are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such
web sites.
