Several of our members have had questions regarding certain issues that have occurred as a result of the merger. The HTM Credit Union would like to apologize for any lack of communication with our members and address these questions. For former Haverhill Municipal Employees Credit Union members, it should be noted that the minimum balance required to remain in each member’s share account is $25.00. We will gradually be implementing this change over the next few months. Also, there is a service fee of 1.00 that is charged for each withdrawal after the first two withdrawals each month from share accounts. In order to avoid excess fees, withdrawals can be made from checking accounts at no charge. The overdraft fee schedule from the HMECU has been lowered due to the merge.
